Leader of the Roots Party Prof. George Wajackoyah now claims that his votes in the 2022 presidential election were stolen.
Wajackoyah, who received 61,969 votes overall, or 0.4% of all votes cast in the election, says that 2.8 million of his votes were fraudulently obtained.
He made this statement at a rally held on Sunday at Jaranda Gardens and added that he is now supporting Azimio leader Raila Odinga in his fight for Kenyans’ rights.
“Ruto must go. Gachagua must go!” Wajackoyah stated.
Wajackoyah also made it clear that he has no interest in overthrowing or destabilizing anyone’s administration.
“Baba knows that I have been involved in overthrowing so many governments all over the world. I have no interest in toppling any governments,” he noted.
Additionally, he asserted that inside the Azimio coalition, cartels were cooperating with President William Ruto behind Raila’s back.
“I want to warn the cartels who are here. Today you are in Jacaranda, at night you are Sugoi,” he proclaimed.
Additionally, he requested Raila’s help in defending his party against Justin Muturi, who he claims sought to dissolve it due to its connections to marijuana.
